Deb, Barb, Jane and families, Our families have been connected in many ways over the years: My sister, Vicky, was a classmate at Glenwood High School, my Mom, Rua, worked at the hospital at the same time your Mother did, and I was honored to work under your Dad for 3 years with MnDot. Even after my employment, if we met on the street, he always greeted me with a smile and a personalized conversation (not just about the weather!) I could go on because he was so very special to me, but just know, I send you my most heartfelt condolences.

I got to know your father through Meals On Wheels.. I visited evey Tuesday with his lunch and he was so kind. We had many conversations about his years in the military and love of flying as well as his family. I only knew him a short time but he was special to me.

Deb,Barb and Jane and families... Your Dad was the nicest man to know. He always made a point to see how I was doing when I saw him which wasn't often as an adult. Losing a parent is so hard but know God is by your side helping you thru the hard times. Time heals all, they say, time helps ease some of the pain. You are all in my  thoughts and prayers.
