Mark and family, As I read the previous messages, I can only reaffirm everything that others have said about Cleo - what a wonderful, patient and kind lady. Her understanding smile and quiet and peaceful demeanor spoke volumes of the gentle spirit that touched the lives of so many. She will be missed and we wish God's healing on all of you - cherish the memories. Tobi & Jerry Stein

My sincere sympathy to the Holtberg family. I always enjoyed visiting with Cleo when she would come to Common Threads Quilt Shop. She was a joy to know.

Dear Holtberg Family,

I'm one of your mom's quilting friends from the Lakes Area Quilt Guild in Alexandria. So sorry for your loss. Cleo was the kind of lady that was judgement free of my quilting and I could tell also of how folks were viewed.  She was a great lady!  She was very organized and folks were always quick to sign up to bring treats whenever your mom asked.  Her gentle reminders were always appreciated and have bailed me out many a times.  I found your mom to be the kind of gal that was quick with a warm and sincere smile, slow to pass judgement and constant with praise towards others.  May your find strength now in the comfort of your family and friends with God's loving arms wrapped around you all.

Steadfast in stitching and friendship,

Heather Thormodson

Dear Holtberg Family,  I am a friend of Cleo's from Lakes Area Quilters and have had the pleasure of knowing her over the past several years.  What a joy filled lady she was!  Always quick to smile and laugh and greet all with her friendly open warmth.  I will miss her   and be thankful I had the opportunity to spend a little time with her.  My prayers are going up for you all.
