Boe Luke Zins, the son of Kevin and Shana Zins was born and died on December 15, 2013 at the Douglas County Hospital in Alexandria. He came into the world weighing 8lbs. 1oz. and was 20 inches long with blue eyes. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 20th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glenwood with Father Michael Wolfbauer officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Glenwood. Arrangements are with the Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Glenwood.
He is survived by his parents, Kevin and Shana Zins of Glenwood; grandparents, Richard and Kimberly Zins, Julie Erickson and Phillip Erickson all of Glenwood; great-grandparents, Mary Zins of Osakis, Melvin and Ardell Klimek of Alexandria and Erma Kickertz of Glenwood; aunts and uncles, Raymond (Laree) Zins, Kayla (Justin) Miller; Jeremy Zins, Justin (fiancé Meghan Hippert) Zins, Peter Zins, Orlin (fiancé Nancy Klimek) Erickson, Alan Erickson, Johnny (special friend, Erica Ellwood) Erickson and Chris Keppers; cousins and other relatives.
Boe is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Bernard Zins, Fred Kickertz, and Clayton and Beverly Erickson; and cousins, Savannah Miller and Richard Zins.
