Donald Gene Meulebroeck, the son of Omar and Mary (Tholen) Meulebroeck was born July 27, 1952, in Marshall, Minnesota. He grew up in the Murdock area where he attended school.

On August 24, 1974, Don was united in marriage to Juanita Quale in Murdock. After their marriage, the couple made their home in Pope County. Don and Juanita started Don's Pump and Well Drilling Company. They owned and operated the company and later their son, Jason, joined them. Don was a member of the MN Water Well Association.  He enjoyed collecting classic cars and attending car shows. He recently acquired a 69 Super Bee, which garnered him a first place trophy in a recent car show. Don also enjoyed ice fishing, traveling, going on vacation with his family and "putzing" in his garage. He enjoyed taking care of his yard and always took the time to make sure it looked nice with a beautiful green lawn. Don especially loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. In 2004, Don and Juanita purchased a lake home on Cedar Lake near Sauk Centre. Two years ago they moved to the lake full time. Don will be remembered for his love and dedication to his family.

Don is survived by his wife of 42 years, Juanita; son, Jason (Christine) Meulebroeck of Glenwood; daughter, Alicia (Rick) Gullickson of Eagan; grandchildren, Madalynn and Owen Meulebroeck, and Ava and Aubrey Gullickson; sisters, Phyllis Johnson of Marshall and Catherine Quinn of Burnsville; brothers, Jerry (Linda) Meulebroeck of Glenwood, and Robert Meulebroeck of WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
