Harris J. Pederson, of Glenwood, passed away on March 2, 2018, three days before his 90th birthday, due to complications suffered from a stroke on Feb. 13.

Harris was born on March 5, 1928, to Herman and Lila Pederson. He attended school in Glenwood, served in the Navy and was employed by the Soo Line Railroad as a switchman. He was united in marriage to Helen (Vollrath) and had two children, Susan and Gregg.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Helen; daughter, Sue; brother, Gerald; sister, Donna Janke.

He is survived by his son, Gregg (Ellen) of Bloomington.

Harris will be laid to rest alongside his wife, daughter and special dog, Rusty, this spring.
