Margaret "Marge" Helen Baumgartner was born in Edgely, ND, on February 19th, 1936.  She was the ninth of 15 children born to Frank and Aloysia (Eberle) Baumgartner.  Marge was united in marriage to Charles Albert Kocher on June 4th, 1955, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in LaMoure, ND.  Marge and Albert farmed near Oakes, ND until 1969, when Albert took a job at Clyde Machines and the family moved to Glenwood, MN.  Marge managed the American Legion in Glenwood then went to work for the Super Valu/Jack and Jill grocery store.  After Albert's death in 1994, she worked for Prairie Community Services where she took care of special needs people for the last 20 years.  Marge had just retired in January of 2014. Marge's first love was her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, her brothers and sisters and her many nieces and nephews.  Marge was extremely unselfish and was a true believer in "better to give than receive".  In the Kocher and Baumgartner family, Marge was known as a Top Notch Chef and provided countless scrumptious meals throughout the years.  Marge enjoyed camping, planting flowers, cooking, sitting on her deck visiting with family and friends and an occasional trip to the casino.  Despite many health problems the last several years, Marge maintained her faith and kept a smile on her face.  In the eyes of family and friends, Marge was a true saint.   Marge passed away at Abbott Northwestern Hospital on Monday, December 29, 2014, due to complications from heart surgery, with her family by her side. Marge is survived by her sons, Dave (Linda) Kocher of Wahpeton, ND, Chuck (Jurlisa) Kocher of Richville, MN, Steve (Jessica) Kocher of Fergus Falls, MN, Jeffrey (JoAnn) Kocher of Villard, MN, Doug Kocher of Glenwood, MN; and Kelly Kocher of Glenwood, MN; her daughters, Linda (Swede) Stelzer of Moorhead, MN, Lorine (Dennis) Schwieters of Prior Lake, MN, Barb Macioce  of Glenwood, MN; 20 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; 5 siblings, Mary McGregor, John Baumgartner, Joe (Audrey) Baumgartner, Cecile (Les) Becker, and Willie (DeeDee) Baumgartner; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
