Margaret "Peggy" Klick, age 60, of Glenwood, MN, died Monday, February 10, 2014, at the University of Minnesota Fairview Hospital in Minneapolis.  Funeral services will be on Saturday at 10 A.M. at Church of the Sacred Heart in Glenwood, MN.  Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home in Glenwood from 4 - 7 P.M., with parish prayers at 7 P.M.  Visitation will continue on Saturday morning at the church, beginning at 9 A.M.  Private family burial will be at a later date.  Arrangements are with Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home of Glenwood.  Memorials may be directed to Pope County Families in Need, in care of Jan Arneson, 25587 Nordic Point Drive, Glenwood, MN 56334. Margaret "Peggy" Christine Klick, the daughter of Joseph Stephen and Jeanette Veronica (Schurman) Kleinschmidt, was born on October 30, 1953 in Sauk Centre, MN. She grew up in town and attended Holy Family Elementary and Sauk Centre High School. Peggy was united in marriage to Stephen Richard Klick on December 29, 1973 at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre, MN. They had several homes in the Twin Cities before moving to Sauk Centre.  In 1987, they moved to Glenwood, MN. Peggy loved spending time with her family and friends. She cherished her children and grandchildren. They brought her endless joy and happiness. Peggy was a pillar of strength for her family. Never in the spotlight; she lived life by example and empowered those around her to accomplish great things. Peggy was diagnosed in January with multiple myeloma.  She fought a short, hard fight. She is survived by parents Joseph and Jeanette Kleinschmidt of Sauk Centre; husband Steve of Glenwood; children: Jennifer Klick of St. Cloud, Brady (Melissa) Klick of Glenwood, Casey (Hillary) Klick of Shakopee, Jesse (Jessica) Klick of Minnetonka, Stephanie (Tanner) Bailey of Glenwood, and Cole Klick (Ani) of Rochester, NY; grandchildren: Ethan, Anders, Jude, and Harrison; sisters: Rosemarie (Gary) Marthaler of Sauk Centre, Julie (Dennis) Pfeifer of Clearwater, FL, and Lisa (Darryl) Ilgen of Hector; brothers: Larry (Audrey) Kleinschmidt of Sauk Centre, Ned (JoAnn) Kleinschmidt of Glenwood, Tim (Mary) Kleinschmidt of Sartell, and Joel Kleinschmidt of Sauk Centre. Peggy is preceded in death by grandparents Joseph Jacob and Margaret Kleinschmidt and Christina Bertha Schurman.
