Marilyn Krulikosky, age 78, of Jordan, MN, died Friday, May 19, 2017, at Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine, MN. A graveside memorial service, officiated by Fr. Joe Vandeberg, will be held at 11:00 A.M. in Calvary Cemetery, Glenwood, MN on Friday May 26 th . Arrangements are with Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home of Glenwood.
Marilyn Shirley Ann Cummins, daughter of Victor and Tina (Vernes) Cummins, was born on July 16, 1938, in Helma, Minnesota. Her family lived on a farm near Helma until Marilyn was seven, at which time they moved to Minneapolis.
Marilyn was married to Arnold Krulikosky for over 20 years (he coincidently passed away in Phoenix, AZ, just 5 months earlier to the day). Their marriage was blessed with six children, two daughters, Wanda and Brenda, and four sons, Arnold Jr, Shaun, Travis, and Chad.
Over the course of Marilyn's life she was employed doing various jobs. Those she enjoyed the most were ones where she could help people, like driving bus for special needs children, and working as a nurse's aide in nursing homes. As a homemaker, she took good care of her own family, loved them unconditionally, made them laugh, and enjoyed the time she spent with them. When her children were young she sewed their clothes and the family enjoyed camping and traveling together. She also liked doing puzzles and tending her flower garden.
Most recently Marilyn resided in Jordan, Minnesota, but over the years she had lived in many towns, with Glenwood, Jordan, and Belle Plaine being her favorites.
On Friday, May 19, 2017, at the Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine, Marilyn went home to be with her Lord, having lived to the age of 78 years. She is finally at peace and will be greatly missed by many!
Marilyn is survived by five of her children, Arnold Jr. (Debra) Krulikosky of Brownton, Wanda (Tony) Baumann of Glencoe, Brenda (Mark) Millerbernd of Belle Paine, Shaun (Denise) Krulikosky of Howard Lake, and Travis Krulikosky of Minneapolis; 15 grandchildren, Rose and Joe Krulikosky, Asia Baumann, Alicia Jensen, Patricia, Christopher, and Keshia Millerbernd, Megan Schanzenback, Emily Ripley, Michael Krulikosky, Tylor and Tanner Krulikosky, Jazsper and Audrey Krulikosky, Trent Weigert; many great-grandchildren; as well as a sister, Cheryl Claypool of Brooklyn Park, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Tina; two sister, Olive Schaper and Jeannie, three brothers, Donnie, Roger, and Virgil; and her son, Chad Krulikosky.
