Marjorie E. Powers, long time Glenwood resident, passed away on Thursday, November 02, 2017. She celebrated her 100th birthday on August 7, 2017 with many family members and friends at GRV in Glenwood. Marge was an active volunteer in the Glenwood community and with her church, was an Eastern Star past matron, and enjoyed both golfing and fishing. Marge was preceded in death by husband, Orville R. Powers,  survived by son Richard W. Powers (Merridy), CA, daughter Susan (John) Harwood, Mpls., grandchildren Richard (Kim) Powers, Chris  Harwood, Deb (Brad) Sirianni, Matt Powers, Jen (Dow) Woerner, and nine great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Ruth, Kyle, Paul, Zachariah, Tyler, Luke, Ryan, and Elizabeth.

Marge's family would like to thank the staff at GRV for their kind and compassionate care for the past two years, and more recently, the wonderful care she received as well from the Glacial Ridge Hospice program

Services will be held at Glenwood United Parish, Saturday, November 11, 2017, visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 with a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Ginger Beck officiating.  Interment will be in the Glenwood Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Glenwood.
