Mary Elizabeth Shuckhart Robertson died on September 24, 2026, at the Belgrade Nursing Home in Belgrade. She was born on December 29, 1937, in Morris, Minnesota, to Edgar and Edna (Raver) Pahl. She grew up in Chokio with her younger brother, Larry until her family moved to Minot, North Dakota.

Mary graduated from high school in Minot, North Dakota. She continued her education and received an elementary teaching degree. She taught elementary school at EN Norgaard in Glenwood.

On June 6, 1955, Mary was united in marriage to Calvin Shuckhart in Graceville. Their marriage was blessed with one son, Daniel. Calvin died on October 6, 1993.

In 1998, Mary was united in marriage to Francis Robertson, and together they made their home in Glenwood. Francis died on April 6, 2022.

As her care needs changed, Mary moved into Glenwood Retirement Village when she needed help with her daily care. Later, she moved to Belgrade Nursing Home.

Mary is survived by her sister-in-law, Susan Pahl; nephew, John Pahl; niece, Joy Marcyes; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Calvin Shuckhart, and her husband, Francis Robertson, her son Daniel Calvin Shuckhart; and brother, Larry Pahl.

A graveside service for Mary and her son, Daniel will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23rd at the Glenwood Cemetery in Glenwood.
