Randy Lou Swenson, age 66 of Rosewood, MN, died Friday, August 11, 2017 at her home.  A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the Glenwood Cemetery in Glenwood.

Randy Lou Swenson, the daughter of Merwin and Delores (Mosier) Andersen was born July 28, 1951 in Sioux City, Iowa.  She grew up in Sioux City where she attended Morningside Christian School and Central High School.  She was a member of Billy's Sunday Tabernacle.

Randy was a baker for most of her life, she worked for various bakeries in the towns she lived.  Most recently she worked at Gary's Bakery in Thief River Falls, MN for over 20 years.

Randy was united in marriage to Allen Swenson in Red Lake Falls, MN.  The couple made their home near Thief River Falls and shared 18 years of marriage.

Randy's enjoyed collecting antiques and arts and crafts.  She loved animals, especially cats and of course baking.  She will be remembered for her infectious giggle, her wonderful artistic abilities and as a loving housewife, with her hair in rollers wearing a house coat while cooking and baking.  Randy passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017.

She is survived by her husband Allen Swenson of Thief River Falls; sons, Christopher and Jeremy Pierce; sisters: Sherry Andersen, Lori Robinson, Debbie Ewoldt and Jody Andersen; brother, Merf Andersen; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Randy is preceded in death by her parents, Merwin and Delores Andersen.
