David John Mrnak was born September 6, 1967 in Glenwood, Minnesota. He was the second of three children born to Raymond and Betty (Boon) Mrnak. David was fondly known as Davey or Dave to family and friends. He grew up on a farm near Glenwood and attended school in Glenwood and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He graduated from Glenwood High School in 1986.
Dave farmed with his dad and then worked for several farmers throughout the years. He enjoyed nature and helping with farming operations. His hobbies included hunting and fishing and he loved to visit. If he couldn’t be found hunting or fishing, he could be found driving around, stopping and visiting with local farmers and business in Glenwood. He especially enjoyed the staff at Brownies Tire Service and Koep's Corner.
Davey is survived by his sisters, Deb (Rodney) Armstrong of Ogema, MN and Judy (Jack Herr) Mrnak of New York Mills; nieces: Ashley Herr, Shannon Armstrong, Faith Armstrong, and Lindsey Armstrong; a great-nephew, Charlie-Ray Armstrong; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Betty Mrnak.
