Hope Terie Schuett (Frederick), the daughter of Morris and Carol (Sanvig) Frederick, was born on June 6th, 1965 in Alexandria, MN.  Hope grew up with her seven siblings in St. James, MN.  Hope graduated from St. James High School in 1983.  After her graduation, her family moved to Villard, MN.

Hope worked at A&W Restaurant in Glenwood before becoming a homemaker.

She was united in marriage to Steve Schuett on February 14, 1986 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.  They began their marriage in Lowry and later moved to Lithia Springs, GA, before moving back to Minnesota, where they made their home on a farm outside of Glenwood.  It was there that they raised their three children, Michael, Hannah, and Matthew.

Hope adored being a wife, a mother, and a grandmother.  She enjoyed cooking, 80s music, watching the Bravo Channel, and spending time with and caring for her family - especially her grandchildren.  Hope loved God and her daily readings of his Word.  Hope will be remembered as a loving, sweet soul with a wonderful sense of humor.

She is survived and deeply missed by her children, Michael (Amanda), Hannah (Nicholas) Gilbert, and Matthew; her three grandchildren, Grace, Avery, and Luke; her mother, Carol; her siblings Adam (Cindy) Frederick, Tammy Stradtman, Bryan (Nicole) Frederick, Paul Frederick, Jodi (Chad) Rademacher, and Angel (Trevor) Nelson; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
