Jennifer Marie Molnau was born on October 24, 1968, in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. The cherished daughter of Raymond and Maxine (Syverson) Iverson, Jennifer grew up in the Twin Cities with her sister, Valorie. On February 24, 1990, Jennifer married the love of her life, Mark Molnau. They began their life together in Brooklyn Center but soon swapped city life for the quiet of the country in Gilchrist Township, near Lake Scandi, where they raised their family and found joy in simple living and hobby farming.
A dedicated homemaker, Jennifer poured her heart into creating a warm and welcoming environment for her family and friends. She was a wonderful cook, an avid gardener, and an enthusiastic mushroom hunter. She enjoyed pickling and canning produce from her garden, collecting unique rocks, watching the birds from her window, and caring deeply for the pets who were always by her side. Whether camping at the pole barn, gathering around a bonfire, swimming at Lake Linka, or hosting a holiday meal, she found joy in nature and in nurturing others. Cookouts with family, evenings under the stars, and the simple magic of being together were some of her favorite moments.
Jennifer will be remembered for her deep love of gardening, her gift for gathering nature's treasures, her warmth in the kitchen, and her joy in bringing loved ones together. She especially treasured time with her family and found meaning in life’s simple, everyday moments.
Jennifer is survived by her devoted husband, Mark; her father, Raymond Iverson; her children, Matt, Danielle, Nick (Kelsey), Emily (Bryce) Miodus, and April (Brady) Wolkenhauer; and her treasured grandchildren, Ayden Molnau and Felix Felton; her sister, Valorie Minder; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Maxine Iverson.
Jennifer’s presence will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered - in every blooming flower, every quiet morning, and every moment of grace she brought to the world. Her spirit will live on in family bonfires, gardens, shared meals, and every springtime mushroom hunt. The traditions she began will continue, carried forward by those who loved her most.
