Paul R. Feigum of Glenwood, died on Saturday, Dec. 25, 2021, at home.
Paul Robert Feigum, the son of Donald and Willow (Swedenburg) Feigum, was born on October 21, 1958, in Minneapolis, MN. Paul was the first of four children. He attended school in Waterloo, IA, Buffalo, MN and attended and graduated from Glenwood High School.
Paul attended the University of Minnesota at Minneapolis and Duluth. He was primarily self-employed in the gardening and landscaping business. He also served on the Glenwood City Park Board for 16 years and most recently worked for the City of Glenwood as a Park Attendant.
Paul was a founding member of the Glenwood Rockets soccer team from 1977-1981, and also played for the Glenwood FC soccer team from 1990-1994. He enjoyed reading, gardening, astronomy and exploring the woods and prairies of Pope County.
Paul was a voracious reader and he was a fixture at the Glenwood Public library. Paul loved to talk politics, horticulture and history, and would spend many nights around a campfire discussing world events.
Paul is survived by his mother, Willow Feigum; brother, Tony (Melissa) Feigum; and sister, Amy (Rod) Uecker, all of Glenwood, as well as 7 nieces and nephews, and 1 grand-nephew.
He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Mabel Feigum, Dr. Paul and Fern Swedenburg, father Donald Feigum, and brother William.
A memorial service will be held in the spring of 2022.
